Hard Reset and Factory Reset of Karbonn Platinum P9

Before you try the factory reset or hard reset on your device, make sure that you have backup your important files. Restoring the default settings or factory reset your device will delete all your existing files and will go back to its initial state.

Factory Reset:

>>> Go to Application Drawer.

>>> Select Apps tab > Settings > Backup & Reset.

>>> Tap Factory data reset > Reset phone > Erase everything to reset phone.


Hard Reset:

>>> Turn OFF your phone.

>>> Press and hold together Volume Up + Power button.

>>> If you see Green screen then you are making it right.

>>> After 10 seconds you see Red screen, release Volume up key.

>>> You can now see recovery options.

>>> Select wipe data with factory reset and press power key for 2 sec.

>>> Select yes -- delete all user data and press power key for 2 second.

>>> Reboot device.
