Then you need to install the PC Companion program. This is a free application and the installation files are already saved on your new phone. This program can also be used in updating your phone software.

4. Tap PIN.

Enter at least four numbers, and then enter the password again to verify it.


Setting a Password:

1. On the Applications screen, tap Settings.
2. Select Lock screen and security.
3. Then choose Screen lock type.
4. Tap Password.

Enter at least four characters including numbers and symbols, and then enter the password again to verify it.

You can set your device to perform a factory data reset if you enter the unlock code incorrectly several times in a row and reach the attempt limit. On the Apps screen, tap Settings > Lock screen and security > Secure lock settings and tap the Auto factory reset switch to activate it.


Updating the device

The device can be updated to the latest software.

Updating over the air

The device can be directly updated to the latest software by the firmware over-the-air (FOTA)
service.

On the Apps screen, tap Settings > About device > Download updates manually

When you tap the Download update automatically switch to activate it, updates will be downloaded when the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network
